   You tell us where the mail goes

   One name and one US mailing address. Your mother, your grandfather, the aunt who never got a smartphone.

   You paste your posts

   Twice a month you copy your own posts, captions and photos into our submission form. We never connect to your social accounts, never ask for a password, and never read anything you did not hand us.

3. 03

   We write the letter

   Your posts get turned into a letter in your voice, the way you would tell it at the kitchen table. It is a letter, not a printout of your feed. Anything that looks private or sensitive gets flagged back to you before it goes in.

4. 04

   It goes in the mail

   Printed, folded, sealed with wax and mailed first class on the 1st and the 15th of each month.

• A letter of one to two pages, printed in warm black on heavy ivory paper
• Up to four of your photos, printed on the page with the story they belong to

No app for them to download. No account for them to make. Nothing to log into. It shows up in the mailbox like mail used to.

Do you need my Facebook password?

No, and we will never ask for one. You paste what you want us to use into a form. We have no access to your accounts at all.

Who is the letter about?

You. You subscribe, you submit your own posts, and the letter goes to a family member or friend you choose. Subscribing on someone else's behalf is not something we offer yet.

Can I read it before it is mailed?

Yes. Ask for a proof and we will email you the draft before anything is printed.

What if I do not submit anything one month?

We will email you a reminder before each cutoff. If we do not hear from you, we hold that letter and mail it with your next one. You are not billed extra for it.

What if something private slips into a post?

Anything that reads as sensitive gets flagged and sent back to you for a yes or no before it goes in the letter.

How long does it take to arrive?

Letters go out on the 1st and the 15th. First class mail inside the US usually arrives within three to five business days after that.

Can I cancel?

Any time, by emailing us. You keep the letters already paid for, and you are not charged again. The full terms are in our cancellation policy.
